Sansa — Terms of Service

The service

Sansa is a private, self-hosted assistant provided free of charge, by an individual, to a small number of invited WhatsApp groups. There is no sign-up, no payment, and no public availability.

Use

Sansa acts only in groups she has been explicitly added to, and only on what is written in them.
Only add her to a group whose members are content for her to read that group's messages. Whoever adds her is responsible for telling the group.
Do not rely on her for anything safety-critical, medical, financial or legal. She interprets free text with an AI model and can misunderstand, miss, or mis-time things.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or data retention. It runs on a single server and may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time without notice. Reminders may be delivered late or not at all; lists and uploads may fail. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Your content

Your messages and photos remain yours. Photos uploaded to a Google Photos album belong to the Google account that owns the album, and remain there if Sansa's access is removed. See the Privacy Policy for what is processed and for how long.

Ending it

Either side can stop at any time: remove Sansa from the group, or revoke her Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The operator may likewise withdraw the service from any group.

Sansa is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp, Meta, or Google.
